About - Steven Tod
* Steve spent four years studying for a B.A. Hons in Illustration. He graduated in 1982.
* He spent a year as an Archaeological Illustrator at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds.
* Steve spent 3 years painting watercolor Landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Norfolk Broads.
* Steve was a full time secondary school art teacher for a total of 8 years in England.
* He left teaching and was a Graphic artist for 4 years working mainly in greater London.
* Steve had been holidaying in Scotland travelling further out into the remotest areas. He made the decision to return Scotland and
took a temporary art teaching post in Orkney.
* This was followed by 8 years as itinerant teacher of art on the Isle of Lewis.
* Steve jumped at the chance to take early retirement and start a career as an illustrator on his 55th birthday.
* Steve is currently working on children's picture books.
